For the furnishing of this beautiful home in Chapman my clients wanted a functional space, suited for entertaining and relaxing. A space which exhibited their interests in travel and their glorious global pieces of art. We retained the large dining table, blue buffet and wicker chair and introduced a soft mix of natural materials and textures, complementing the light and airy architectural feel of the home.
‘White and Bright’! Simple and sleek doors with pull handles, push click systems, and white subway tiles. To avoid corner cupboards we included a hidden cupboard design directly under the breakfast bar. The linked small laundry design creates flow throughout the beautiful light and airy contemporary country kitchen space.
For this beautiful rustic country kitchen design we knocked down a wall and opened the kitchen space right up. We included a very spacious and large corner pantry, hidden slide out bins and utensil cupboard. Porcelain handles, profile doors, strip lighting and of course that stunning cream pressed tin splashback.
The small laundry design includes the original federation tiles with floor to ceiling cabinetry and stacked dryer and washer.
Finally, the Bathroom also includes the original bathroom floor tile and bath with the new pressed tin feature walls and profile cabinetry to match.
For this small divided space (part dining, part lounge), my client pursued an uncluttered, inviting, functional and comfortable space. An Industrial Farmhouse style with a focus on soft neutral colour palettes, subtle splashes of pattern and a variety of textures.
The following images depict Part one of the project. Part two, including accessories and lighting to come soon.
A light, airy, eclectic styled room with a large focus on the contemporary traits of clean lines and soft neutral colours and materials. A place that forms a home for the chosen art piece for the space. And finally, a sanctuary where parents can retreat and enjoy each other’s company.
