APRICOT KERNEL
Comprising of Vitamins, A and E and Omega’s 3, 6 and 9 this natural emollient makes for a nutritious carrier. Believed to demonstrate skin smoothing, revitalising and anti-septic properties, Apricot Kernel is often used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for its rejuvenating and immunity boosting properties, and can be found in our Cleansing, Body and Intensive Oils.
BAOBAB
Rich in Omega Fatty Acids and high in Vitamin A, E & D this base oil is fast absorbing and is non-comedogenic, which is why we love using it in our light Luminous Face Oil.
ARGAN
Used widely in the haircare industry for its conditioning and strengthening properties. Argan oil provides an abundance of added benefits for the skin. High in Vitamin E and Unsaturated Fatty Acids, Argan Oil offers protective, nourishing and regenerating properties. Found and loved in Ħarlo’s Face Cream, Cleansing Oil, Intensive Oil and Beard Oil.
BLACKBERRY SEED
Loaded with unsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin C, Blackberry Seed is highly regarded for its antioxidant, moisturising and calming properties. Known to increase elasticity and suppleness and specially selected for our Illuminous Face Oil.
BLACKCURRANT
As found in its other berry relatives, Blackcurrant oil is loaded with antioxidants and gamma-linolenic acid. Known to increase skin elasticity and often used as a soothing agent, Blackcurrant Oil can be found in our Intensive Face Oil.
GRAPESEED
Known to tighten and tone and comprising of Omegas 6, & 9, Vitamin E and Beta-Carotene, Grapeseed oil is the ideal light, fast-absorbing carrier oil. Regarded for its softening, reparative and scar healing properties. Used in our Cleansing, Body, Illuminous oils and Body cream.
JOJOBA
A nutrient rich, hypoallergenic oil, full of vitamins and minerals. Regarded for its Vitamin B Complex and E content and often used for its natural emollient, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s little wonder why we choose for this fast-absorbing, non-comedogenic oil to be featured in so many of our products.
MARULA
Known and referred to as the ‘Miracle Oil’, this special ingredient is appreciated for its calming, reparative, healing and protective properties. Considered to enhance elasticity and firmness and high in antioxidants, Vitamins C & E and the highest source of Omega 9 Fatty acids. Used with love in our Face Cream.
PRICKLY PEAR
The Pricky Pear a traditional delicacy indulged in the hot summer months on the small island of Malta, Tarmaine's home island. The oil is ultra-lightweight and loaded with antioxidants and essential fatty acids. High in Vitamin E and K and loved and used for its nourishing and repairing properties. You’ll find its benefits in the light Illuminous Oil.
RASPBERRY
The tiny seeds from the Red Raspberry form this highly nutritious oil. Believed to present firming, soothing and rejuvenating properties. High in Omega 3, 6 and Vitamin A. Specially selected and featured in our Intensive Face Oil.
SESAME
Known to be high in Zinc and Omega 3, 6 and 9 this protective oil in Ayurveda practices is traditionally used to neutralize Vata instability. We love using it in our invigorating Body Oil.
BLUEBERRY SEED
Blueberry Seed Oil is considered one of our significant treasures, with quite honestly, too many benefits to list. High in Antioxidants, Vitamin E and Omega 3 just to name a few, and is appreciated in the cosmetic world for its alleged ability to assist with skin elasticity and firming. Found in our Face Cream and Intensive Face Oil.
HEMP
Hemp Seed Oil, known to have a composition akin to that of our own skin lipids, is notorious for its copious therapeutic properties. Comprising of Omega 6, 3 and 9 this fast-absorbing, non-comedogenic, conditioning oil is believed to offer regenerative, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Used with appreciation in our Cleansing, Illuminous and Beard Oil.
KUKUI
Kukui oil, meaning ‘Enlightenment’ in Hawaiian is renowned for its soothing and regenerative properties. High in Omega Fatty Acids, Vitamins A, C and E, antioxidants and oleic acid. Specially featured in our Body Cream and Intensive Face Oil.
POMEGRANANTE
Pomegranate “Nature’s Power Fruit’ symbolising in Greek mythology, the cycle of death and rebirth. Comprising of Punicic Acid, Omega’s 9 & 6 and Vitamin E, Pomegranate Oil is used and appreciated for is regenerative, anti-inflammatory and therapeutic properties. A specially selected ingredient in our Intensive Face Oil.
PUMPKIN
Valued for its toning and firming abilities, Pumpkin Seed Oil is known for its generous Vitamin C and Zinc (a natural anti-inflammatory) levels. A natural, light-weight emollient, soothing on the skin and can be found in our specially formulated Face Cream and Intensive Oil.
ROSEHIP
Derived from the Rose’s seed pods and traditionally used in culinary applications and Ancient Chinese medicine, Rosehip is known to offer a broad spectrum of benefits and nutrients in skincare. Often used for its firming and smoothing properties, Rosehip is renowned for its high Vitamin C levels and essential fatty acids. A natural astringent, this oil is regenerative, anti-inflammatory and soothing. Specially featured in both of our nutritious Face Oils.
WHEATGERM
High in Vitamin E, Phospholipids and linoleic acid, Wheatgerm Oil is considered to stimulate collagen growth and improve elasticity. Historically used as the ‘go-to’ oil for scarring and skin repair and found in our specially formulated Body Oil.
BLACK PEPPER
Used for trade during ancient Greek and Roman times, this comforting, warming and regenerative oil is featured in our Body Oil, paired and enriched with Orange, Ginger and Vanilla oil – our favourite stimulative combination.

CEDAR
Cosmetically used to soothe irritation, redness and inflammation, Cedarwood Oil is a favourite for its cleansing, astringent, antiseptic and stimulative properties on both hair and skin. We think its soothing, calming scent is a perfect match for our Beard Oil trio.
FRANKINCENSE
The renowned powerful attributes to body, mind and spirit of Frankincense go way beyond this little snippet. Commonly known as the ‘king’ of essential oils, Frankincense has been valued for centuries and used widely, from religious sacraments and rituals to medicinal practices. In the skincare world its benefits are as abundant. Used for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. Frankincense can produce a calming and soothing effect on the skin and is said to stimulate cell growth and stimulate blood flow. Used in our Illuminous Face Oil, specially selected for troublesome skin.
ORANGE
Known for its calming properties (and its ability to reduce pulse rates), this cheerful, stimulating and warming oil features cleansing, tonic and antioxidant properties and is found in our specially formulated Cleansing & Body Oil.
GINGER
Ginger Oil, AKA the 'Oil of Empowerment' and one of our most favoured essential oils. With a scent that evokes confidence and used for thousands of years in folk medicine for its stimulating, tonic, firming and anti-inflammatory properties. Specially featured in our Cleansing Oil and Body Oil.
PATCHOULI
This ‘scent of the sixties’ is often used for its antifungal, antiseptic, tonic and astringent properties. Personally, we just love its warming, musky qualities especially in our Beard Oil scent trio.
SANDALWOOD
Used for centuries in traditional medicine, this mood-enhancing oil is known for is its smoothing, relaxing properties. We love its masculine attributes to our subtly scented Beard Oil.
VANILLA
This sweet-scented oil is known for its soothing, antibacterial and B-vitamin properties. This precious pure oil (not extracts here!) are featured in our Body, Face and Cleansing products.

SHEA
The Shea tree, also known as the 'Tree of Life', provides precious kernels for one of the most highly regarded skincare ingredients across the world. Used by our early ancestors for its protective & restorative properties. Known to be high in Vitamins E, A and F with anti-inflammatory and gentle natural emollient properties. This nutrient rich ingredient forms the primary base for our water-free Face and Body Creams.
ROSEMARY OLEORESIN
A powerful antioxidant, this natural extract derived from Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) also offers anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and detoxifying properties. Known to slow down the rancidity of oils, its natural properties help delay the oxidation of fat and bacteria that can often cause spoilage.
COCOA
The Cocoa Pod, home to the Cocoa Bean and the fatty source for our unrefined Cocoa Butter. Believed to contain photo-protective properties and renowned for its antioxidant, detoxifying and rejuvenating qualities. Used for centuries to heal and protect skin, this mild chocolaty scented ingredient comprises of Omega Fatty Acids, Vitamin, E & K and can be found as one of our base ingredients in our water free Body Cream.
ELDERBERRY PHYTOCIDE
This naturally derived botanical extract from the Elderberry plant offers antimicrobial properties. Also rich in antioxidants and a mild anti-inflammatory.
